Explore Taos

Through the years, the Hotel Martin was the hub of Taos' social, intellectual and artistic activity. Later owners renamed it the Taos Inn, added the popular neon thunderbird sign (Taos' oldest) and the carved reception desk. In 1982, the Inn was placed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places.

  • “Exactly What I Was Looking For”

This place fit me to a T. Live singer-songwriter music right outside my door in the lobby, small lovely warm decor. I just picked it off the internet and could not have been luckier. I would go back in a heartbeat and hope to do just that someday.

  • “Great Place: Historic Taos Inn”

Loved the property; it is divided up into small sections, each one very unique and inviting. The rooms (and I saw four) where all tastefully designed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Location is right in town so once there, you can walk all over town.
