A Blooming Bunch of Fun

Music for Mother’s Day, lush lilacs, and one of the country’s oldest motorcycle rallies are all on the lineup for the month of May.

First, join us at Filemon Sanchez Park on May 10-12 for the 18th Annual Day Mother’s Day Music Festival. This three-day family-friendly concert features such musical artists as Sangre Joven, Traveler in Pain, Tanya Griego, Jerome Grant, and others. Next, revel in a blooming bunch of activities at Kit Carson Park during the Taos Lilac Festival on May 17-19. Browse the work of more than 40 artisans and craftspeople in media of fiber, metalwork, leather, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

The festival will also feature a pet parade and costume contest, live entertainment, and children’s activities, along with the Taos Lilac Garden Center. Lastly, be sure to stick around for five days of fun at the 37th Annual Red River Memorial Weekend Motorcycle Rally. From May 23-27, the Red River area will be filled with music, food, and fun, as the communities of Taos, Questa, Eagle Nest, and Angel Fire combine to host special events throughout the rally, including an annual visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
