Holiday Magic Found Here
Yuletide in Taos is an enchanted season – the glow of farolitos and luminarias illuminate the streets, brightly-lit boughs twinkle on holiday trees, and the songs of carolers join with the sounds of Santa’s laughter and the delightfully rich taste of hot chocolate.
This season, we suggest several events for our guests to add to their enjoyment of the holidays. First, don’t miss the Yuletide Arts & Crafts Fair on November 23-25. Presented by the Community Against Violence, the fair will feature the finest hand-crafted goods from the area’s artists and crafts persons, and don’t leave without stopping by to see Santa. So, grab that holiday shopping list and support victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Next, find more exquisite and artisan-crafted gifts at the annual Taos Folk pop-up store beginning on November 25 and lasting through December 24. Lastly, join us on November 30 at Taos Plaza for the 31st Annual Yuletide Caroling and Tree Lighting. We’ll kick off the holidays in style with Mayor Dan Barrone, Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and live entertainment, along with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate for all.
