Independence Day in the Enchanted Circle

This 4th of July, visitors staying at our historic Taos hotel will have not just one but five ways to celebrate America's birthday. Taos and the surrounding towns, which make up the Enchanted Circle, are all hosting their own unique celebrations, and with each town less than an hour from the Historic Taos Inn, you have the opportunity to experience nearly all of them! It all begins at 10am with Red River's annual 4th of July Main Street Parade, with live music, food and drinks. At noon, head to Arroyo Seco for their annual parade, a quirky display of humorous floats and costumes. At 2pm, visitors can choose either a parade and barbecue at Eagle Nest or the rubber duck race at Taos Ski Valley. Finally, while Taos leaves the parades to the other towns, it has an incredible hour-long fireworks spectacular beginning at 9:15pm. So take advantage of Taos's central location and celebrate this 4th of July 5 ways.
